NYSARH Awards Management Contract

In February 2005, the Central New York Area Health Education Center (CNYAHEC) was awarded the contract to serve as the Administrative/Managerial Services Contractor for NYSARH. The mission of CNYAHEC, to improve access to quality health care by promoting improvements in the supply, training, development and distribution of health professionals in a 14 county area is in direct alignment with the mission of NYSARH to serve the health interests of residents of rural New York State. When CNYAHEC was considering a proposal to NYSARH, it became clear that coordination of services would be a natural partnership between CNYAHEC and NYSARH.

With an eye towards the future, CNYAHEC envisions a partnership with NYSARH that allows both organizations to work together to foster the development and growth of the association to achieve its mission. As such, CNYAHEC looks forward to assisting NYSARH to increase statewide awareness of the association, increase membership through improved and more frequent communications, increase attendance at the annual conference, and to provide up-to-date, coordinated data management to keep the system functioning as effectively as possible.
